1 Koningen 9:8

SV	En aangaande dit huis, [dat] verheven zal geweest zijn, al wie voor hetzelve zal voorbijgaan, zal zich ontzetten en fluiten; men zal zeggen: Waarom heeft de HEERE alzo gedaan aan dit land en aan dit huis?
WLC	וְהַבַּ֤יִת הַזֶּה֙ יִהְיֶ֣ה עֶלְיֹ֔ון כָּל־עֹבֵ֥ר עָלָ֖יו יִשֹּׁ֣ם וְשָׁרָ֑ק וְאָמְר֗וּ עַל־מֶ֨ה עָשָׂ֤ה יְהוָה֙ כָּ֔כָה לָאָ֥רֶץ הַזֹּ֖את וְלַבַּ֥יִת הַזֶּֽה׃
Trans.	wəhabayiṯ hazzeh yihəyeh ‘eləywōn kāl-‘ōḇēr ‘ālāyw yiššōm wəšārāq wə’āmərû ‘al-meh ‘āśâ JHWH kāḵâ lā’āreṣ hazzō’ṯ wəlabayiṯ hazzeh:

AC	ח והבית הזה יהיה עליון כל עבר עליו ישם ושרק ואמרו על מה עשה יהוה ככה לארץ הזאת ולבית הזה
ASV	And though this house is so high, yet shall every one that passeth by it be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, Why hath Jehovah done thus unto this land, and to this house?
BE	And this house will become a mass of broken walls, and everyone who goes by will be overcome with wonder at it and make whistling sounds; and they will say, Why has the Lord done so to this land and to this house?
Darby	and this house, [which] is high, every one that passes by it shall be astonished at, and shall hiss, and they shall say, Why has Jehovah done thus to this land and to this house?
ELB05	Und dieses Haus, das erhaben war, jeder, der an demselben vorbeigeht, wird sich entsetzen und zischen. Und man wird sagen: Warum hat Jehova diesem Lande und diesem Hause also getan?
LSG	Et si haut placée qu'ait été cette maison, quiconque passera près d'elle sera dans l'étonnement et sifflera. On dira: Pourquoi l'Eternel a-t-il ainsi traité ce pays et cette maison?
Sch	Und über dieses Haus, so hoch es gewesen ist, wird jeder, der da vorübergeht, sich entsetzen und spotten und sagen: Warum hat der HERR diesem Lande und diesem Hause also getan?
Web	And at this house which is high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus to this land, and to this house?
